"I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness." John, 12:46

Christ has delivered me from my personal darkness many times. There have been times in the past year that He has allowed me to struggle to find Him, even wait for a long time in darkness.  I have asked Him several times why?  Why this and why me?  However, the times when I have trusted His plan for me in these struggles, His peace has been granted to me.


 I could not have made it through my emotional and physical health struggles without His love and the hope He gives me.  I feel that it's been in my deepest struggles that I have truly come to appreciate Him and all the pain He suffered for me.  Our trials turn us to God because often there is nowhere else to go.
